About the Informatica Developer Network
What is the Informatica Developer Network?
The Informatica Developer Network (IDN) is a program designed to help software developers expand the business value of Informatica's data integration platform and data quality products through the development of innovative and compelling third-party applications. The program supports software development efforts and fosters a vibrant community geared towards sharing real-world expertise and best practices about how to build, deploy, manage and optimize applications, and provide open feedback between IDN members and Informatica.
Informatica Developer Network members may benefit from:
- Technical Knowledgebase - Read our tutorials, articles, and white papers. Download sample code or software to help you develop better software solutions in less time.
- Sharing Ideas - Share ideas with Informatica and other network members by getting involved in our discussion forums.
- Certification - Take advantage of and benefit from Informatica’s Professional Certification Program.
- Collaboration - Develop and promote your add-on products through cooperation with Informatica and other members.
- Learning - Visit our marketing events and share best practices by attending Informatica’s User Groups.
The Informatica Developer Network is undergoing an evolution toward more of a community. Over the course of the next several months you’ll see some changes reflecting this goal. Who should participate?
The Informatica Developer Network is open to anyone who wishes to develop solutions with the Informatica Data Integration Platform. This includes developers, architects, consultants and system integrators.
What are the costs and benefits of membership?
Membership is available in two Options:
1) Free Membership
Free membership allows for participation in discussion forums as well as viewing product information to learn about product offerings from Informatica and participating developers.
2) Full Membership
Full Membership is available at no charge to Informatica customers and partners.
Full members have access to the following additional resources:
- Software updates and briefings on future Informatica technologies and products
- Interaction with Informatica's technical teams
- Technical seminars and workshops on Informatica products and APIs
- Potential opportunities for joint marketing and sales activities with Informatica
Applicants who are not Informatica customers or partners may apply for Full Membership and qualify for the latest PowerCenter Developer Versions for a fee of $500 per year.
All membership applications are subject to Informatica approval.
