    How do I upgrade my free-membership to full-membership status?

    As a full member of the Informatica Developer Network, you are eligible to receive:

    • Developer versions of selected Informatica products
       
    • Software updates and briefings on future Informatica technologies and products
       
    • Interaction with Informatica technical teams
       
    • Technical seminars and workshops on Informatica products and APIs
       
    • Potential opportunities for joint marketing and sales activities with Informatica

    I am already a free-member of the Informatica Developer Network and would like to upgrade my membership.

    As a registered member, why can't I access or log into the discussion forums?

    The discussion forums are open to both free and full Informatica Developer Network members and requires a user login and password. (See the sign-up page to become a member.) To enter the Discussion Forums, click on any of the forums listed under the "Discussion Forums" menu on the Informatica Developer Network home page. After entering your login and password you can move freely between forums without further authentication.

    Some important notes:

    • Both JavaScript and cookies must be enabled on your browser to use the Discussion Forums.
       
    • You'll remain logged in until you close all browser windows. If you use a companion program, such as Netscape Messenger along with Netscape Communicator, both programs must be closed in order to log out.

    Why can't I post a message in the discussion forums?

    You can post a reply to any message within a topic. For example, if a topic has 10 messages, you can reply to the first message or the the tenth.

    To post or reply to a message, you must be logged into the discussion forum and be either a full or free member. For information regarding membership, please visit the Membership Application page.

    To reply to a message, simply click on the message you wish to reply to. At the bottom of the message select "Reply to message ...." From the reply to screen, enter your text or html message and click on "Post"

    How do I update or change my Informatica Developer Network account information?

    If you're having problems using your Informatica Developer Network account, have lost your password, or need a change made in the primary email address or password in your Forum member profile:

    Most profile updates and password changes can be made through the Informatica Member Services directory. Follow this link to access these member services.

    If you are unsuccessful at your attempt to update your profile please follow the steps below:

    • Describe your problem or need.
       
    • Tell us the username you enter to login.
       
    • If you forgot your password, tell us approximately when you last logged in and whether the email address you're mailing from is the same one that is on your account.
       
    • Send your message to devnet@informatica.com
       
    • If the e-mail address on your message does not match the one on the account, we will need to confirm that the person asking for the new password is actually the account owner. So anything you can include in your e-mail message to confirm this will speed up the process.

    Members of the Informatica Developer Network are independent software companies worldwide that provide add-on services and products based on Informatica technologies. Informatica currently offers two certification levels: Member and Gold. Developer members can enjoy certain benefits depending on the level of certification granted to their products.
